Everyone! I don’t know what the rules are. YES, videos are prohibited but there seems to be a renewed effort to enforce other rules that have not been, up until now. I don’t know what the criteria is, exactly, because Tumblr will not discuss it directly. Porn is not explicitly forbidden by the Terms of Service EXCEPT for videos.
However, there seems to be a great deal of attention being paid to porn blogs recently with a lot of violations and account deletions. I don’t know how far it will go but I’m kind of discouraged just from having dealt with what I have so far. I haven’t made any firm decisions and I am actively talking to other bloggers to try and determine where I stand and what I can do.
I didn’t want to say anything yet, but my ASK box was filling up and I felt I should say something.
I am leaving this site up but I won’t be posting any time soon. I’ve been getting multiple warnings about posting porn. Tumblr is apparently not happy and is taking porn down at an accelerated rate. Until things clear up or stabilize I can’t see myself continuing. Based on their comments to me, if they aren’t warning other porn Tumblrs yet, they will be. I know that some folks have had their Tumblrs deleted without notice. I investigated moving this site elsewhere but it’s just too much time and work for me really. I’ll be around but I am no longer going to accept submissions.
I will check my ask from time to time but e-mail is probably the best way to contact me from now on.
I’ve been away, prob going to be away a bit longer. Trying to sort some stuff out with my sites and tumblr. Seems the free lunch is over here. If you sent me an ask or submitted, sorry. I hope I can get to it. :-P
